Masonboro Urgent Care offers medical care and emergency medical services to the greater Wilmington, NC area. It is a medical facility offering a unique outlook on health and the practice of medicine. Masonboro Urgent Care is a place that presents the idea of two of life’s realities clashing: The first is that the staff of Masonboro Urgent Care has a passion to provide excellent health care. The second is that unfortunately everyone, regardless of their best intentions and goals, is going to need the services of a health care provider. The question posed is who to trust with your health care… Our staff has over 50 years of combined experience in primary and urgent care. Dr. Mitch Meyer, the lead physician and owner, is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing for 28 years. Previously Dr. Mitch Meyer practiced with Wilmington Health for 8 years. Anthony Gore, our other provider, has both owned and been the main provider in 2 other urgent cares. Gary Kraulik is an experienced orthopedic technologist and brings over 20 years experience in treating sports injuries. Tricia is our office manager and combines burns unit and other nursing experiences with a background in staff management. Dawn is in charge of the front office and brings a wealth of urgent care experience.

Anthony Gore Pa-c stated: “I would like the patient to experience compassionate care with a gentle touch.”
Dawn Bowen stated: “I hope that the people of our community and the surrounding communities are blessed by the service we can provide.”
Gary stated: “I want patients and their families to feel at home in our office with as little anxiety as possible as we give good care.”
Tricia said: “Our goal is to be an integral part of the community. We would provide medical care and also be the center for sports physicals, school physicals and occupational medicine. We want to be known as good neighbors and support the activities of the neighborhood.”
Dr. Mitch Meyer: “Finally my goal of starting this urgent care is embodied in our mission statement: ‘Urgent care with excellence – because excellence glorifies God and honors people.’ I believe that every person is created uniquely in the image of God and that when we do what we are designed to do, God is glorified. Our goal here is to glorify God by providing excellent primary and urgent care.”
